This mallet has been made out of Beech wood and would be a welcome addition to any carpenter, woodworker or dressmaker. The mallet can be used by a dressmaker to firm down the seams of a garment before putting it through the sewing machine. Who knew? That’s what one of my clients does with hers. The mallet is 7” high and 3” wide.
